Ellen,
Have you looked at the MATHEDCC list? It is sponsored by AMATYC - the
American Math Assn of Two Year Colleges. It is a very lively list discussing
all aspects of undergraduate math and also math ed. You can read more about
it and subscribe by going to the AMATYC home page at http://www.amatyc.org
You will also find information on the national conferences and summer
institutes sponsored by AMATYC, student math league, position statements,
links, etc. A copy of the Crossroads in Mathematics: Standards for
Introductory College Math before Calculus is also available for download.

If you are interested in other math related lists you might want to check
out the following http://www.liszt.com/ and use the keyword "mathematics"
in your search. It will give you 42 math related mailing lists. This is a
great site in general since it is a clearing house for e-mail lists.

You can contact me off list if you would like any additional "math" contacts
