Position Description: The Coordinator of the Mathematics Learning Center (MLC) will supervise the MLC and mathematics computer laboratories, as well as teach one class from the full range of courses offered by the Mathematics Department. This person will hire, train, schedule and supervise a staff of part-time tutors. The MLC provides tutoring and other support for students from mathematics courses ranging from developmental through courses beyond the calculus level. Qualifications: Ph.D. in mathematics preferred, master's degree in mathematics required. Experience in college-level teaching preferred. Computer skills required. Experience in a learning center environment and/or developmental mathematics is preferred.
