I pay the tutors in the Student Advising and Learning Center $7.00/hour for
one-one tutoring and $10.00/hour for small groups.  The minimum wage in
Washington is $6.50.
For private tutoring I suggest that the tutors charge $10.00/hour as they
have to collect the money.
