Electronic Records Conference to be held

June 5 - 9, 2000 at Catholic University, Washington, DC

The Catholic University's Records & Information Program is holding a
one-week conference from June 5 - 9, 2000 on Electronic Records: Turning
Theory into Reality. The conference sessions will provide a realistic
understanding of the impact/implications of electronic records on
organizations. The conference is designed for senior-level records managers,
IT managers and staff, chief information officers, document and data
managers, E-commerce managers, people responsible for security, auditing,
and legal aspects or any one else in private industry or the federal
government who needs to implement an electronic records program in their
organization.

Sessions will include records/information security, electronic records
authentication and electronic signatures, legal issues, technology,
scheduling identification/metadata, and other pertinent topics regarding
electronic records and the organization.
