Retention Program Coordinator/Academic Advisor: University College, Ohio
University.  Coordinate the college's retention programs including those
for minority students.  Work with academic and other departments at Ohio
University to develop pro-active programs and collaborative activities to
improve the retention and graduation rates of minority students.  Hire,
train and supervise peer mentors. Advise an assigned caseload of undecided
and other students served by the college.  Advise in the new student
orientation programs.  Teach a section of the first year orientation
course.  Responsible for other duties assigned by the Dean of University
College. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in student personnel,
counseling, or a relevant discipline.  Prior experience at the college
level with minority retention programs and academic advising.  Excellent
written, interpersonal and analytical skills. Salary is commensurate with
