Hi all,
Happy to report from SW Fl. that signs of migration are evident. Thurs.
7/20 two groups of Barn Swallows were spotted moving south about mid day at
100' and quickly, more loose groups passing high late Fri. pm over Captiva as
well.
Also Thurs 7/20 my first Spotted Sandpiper for the season on North Captiva
and the sand bar had a good mix of Terns with Common,Black, Least, Royal, and
an abundance of Sandwich Terns. Few shorebirds to report.
Last of all a Yellow-throated Warbler on Captiva marks another migrant on
the move.
Polish up those lens they're on the way!!
