Hi all!

Not much this week on my fifth journey to Myakka since May. There were
Black-bellied Whistling Ducks at the dam on the Upper Lake, as well as a few
Roseate Spoonbills. The big airboat is back in operation & many of the birds
that have been enjoying the peace & quite have departed. The river was still
2 1/2 feet below the top of the dam. I don't know if all the rain we had in
the Tampa Bat area on Saturday will bring the river up to where it actually
flows again.
Good birding to all,
