Well, of course, we haven't done the tracking after the class was complete.
Our only goal was to have our students reading at least 250 wpm, which is
the average speed rate. As I stated, we were not really interested in
creating speedreaders, merely getting our students to an even playing field.

And what happened to reading rate six months after the speedracers were on
their own?  Did the rate/comprehension gains maintain or become extinct?
