I give!
I've only taught reading for 4 years. I based that information on a discussion with my instructor who has 27 years experience in developmental education. I'll bow out and let those of you with more experience or research experience answer these questions if you want to or can. Personally, I have to find more tutors, work on the spring schedule, get assessment reports together for the state regents, etc. I'll certainly think twice before jumping in unaware next time.

Is there any evidence that says the attempt to strengthen eye muscles has
any value? Even if you could strengthen eye muscles, what good is this
supposed to do?   What does improve eye movement mean?  If people have
problems moving their eyes, they should be encouraged to see a medical
doctor.
