HEERMANN’S GULL

PINELLAS COUNTY
A HEERMANN’S GULL was seen this afternoon at about 3 P.M. at Ft. De Soto
Park. It was seen at the beach near East Beach Woods. The bird was briefly
seen on 10/27 on the beach near the fort, but not positively identified. To
get to Ft. DeSoto Park, take CR 679 south of St. Petersburg to the park.
East Beach Woods is to the left at the “T” intersection. Stop at
headquarters for a checklist for directions to areas. DeLorme p. 90, D3
