There was a major pullout of migrants overnight at Turkey Creek.  While the fields yielded some birds, the hammocks and woodlands were almost devoid of activity.  Seven fanatical birders searched every nook and cranny to find the few extremely wary birds that remained --- an ordeal!

1  Wilson's male -- day 9 -- seen at the end of the creek overlook path off MacKinnon's Way at noon --- bird very wary today
20 Pine -- these birds will spend the winter at Turkey Creek
