Please let all interested parties know about the following position: WASHINGTON STATE UNIVERSITY DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS Washington State University invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Admissions on the Pullman campus. The position is a permanent, full-time position and reports to the Vice-Provost of Enrollment Management. Founded in 1890, Washington State University is the state's land-grant university, which serves the needs of over 16,000 undergraduates and nearly 2000 graduate students. The University consists of ten colleges and a graduate school. The Director of Admissions is responsible for leadership, policy, and procedure in the Office of Admissions. Required The qualifications include a Master's degree with a minimum of five years of current and progressive managerial experience in, or related to, admissions or enrollment management. Must have excellent interpersonal, public, and written communication skills; and demonstrated management ability. Must have proven success in strategic planning, recruiting, enrolling, and retaining a diverse, quality student body within a medium to large institution. Preferred The Director should have contemporary knowledge of admissions or enrollment management policies and practices and be proficient in procedural and policy analysis. Should have experience in budget development and fiscal management. Knowledge in computer technology, paperless information technology, and experience in automated student information and marketing systems and admissions processes is desirable. Should have ability to address technological and interpersonal challenges and provide workable solutions in a fast-paced environment. Should have demonstrated ability in designing and executing collaborative, internal and external partnerships. Should have demonstrated record and commitment to outstanding customer service.
