Gary Probst wrote some rather broad and sweeping accusations against public
schools. He might want to reconsider some of those qualifying words we warn
our students about (always, never, no way). To assume that our jobs depend
on failed school experiments is boastful, considering the variables present
in educational settings and the lives of students. The statement that a
student develops a "learning problem" at the end of an experimental
educational program is also suspect.
