Two mature bald eagles can be seen regularly at Roosevelt Creek.
They frequent the high power line towers, as well as the dead snag
trees out in the lake. Yesterday I saw them soaring over the house,
swooping and teasing one another.

The Roosevelt Creek Project is a flood-control project that is now 2
years old. It is in The Lakes subdivision, at the corner of 41st St
and Lakes Boulevard in Pinellas Park, which is between St Petersburg
and Clearwater, Florida. The entrance to the subdivision is at the
intersection of US19 and 49th Street, where you turn in for the
Freedom Lake Park. When you enter you are on Lakes Boulevard - just
follow it back to the big power lines and you'll see 41st St and the
lakes.
