Topic Description:

Records Management software is an essential business tool in today's
Knowledge Economy. But what exactly is records management software? How can
you be sure that you are buying the right software for your organization?
This seminar will provide a practical approach to determining your RM
software requirements and evaluating software packages in terms of your
needs and priorities. You will learn the differences between the various
types of Records Management software products, their strengths and
weaknesses. Participants will have an opportunity to go through a needs
analysis checklist and to create a sample requirements document which
defines needs and priorities.

Speaker Bio:

Brenda Brooks has over fifteen years experience in software application
design and programming. She has directed or participated in many needs
analyses for records management implementations in addition to evaluating
software packages for numerous clients.
Brenda is a Partner (with Caroline Werle) in Bizware Software Solutions for
Information Management and is also Owner and President of Access Information
Services. Brenda has a B.Sc. from McGill University and an MLS from the
University of Toronto.
