Dear Carolyn:

I am trying to deal with many e-mail messages which came my way during
the summer and fall, and I just noticed your posting to the LRNASST list
serve.

I am the editor of the newsletter for the Michigan Developmental
Education Consortium, an affiliate of the National Association for
Developmental Education. I wonder if you would like to write a review of
the Davis book for the spring issue of our newsletter. Our membership
isn't large--approximately 120 statewide, and we are always looking for
new info that can be useful in our various roles as learning assistance
professionals and developmental educators.

The deadline for submission would be May 15. The length could be up to
1,000 words. Publication would be in May. I could provide you with
several copies of the newsletter for your personal and professional
files.

Please let me know if you would like to have a review of the Davis book
published in our newsletter. Note, too, that I would be willing to
consider articles of other types and about other subjects as well.
