Supplemental Instruction Supervisor


The University of Pittsburgh is accepting applications for the position of
Supplemental Instruction Supervisor (Position H-09721), a 10-month regular
full-time position at the Learning Skills Center (LSC).

The SI Program at the LSC consists of a staff of two-and-a-half full time
professional positions and approximately 25 SI leaders who support 50
course sections per year.  As a member of the SI team, this position shares
responsibility for recruiting, training, scheduling and supervising a group
of SI leaders, for initiating and maintaining communication with faculty,
and for program evaluation and data reports.

Master's degree preferred with three or more years experience in learning
assistance, counseling or related field. Knowledge of theories, models, and
practices of college learning and study skills is essential.  Previous
supervisory experience is also recommended.

This regular 10-month position offers comprehensive benefits including
