innovative/collaborative individual in this rapidly expanding and extensive
program for the position of:

COORDINATOR OF ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)
Responsible for coordinating and continually reviewing all aspects of the
ESL program including academic preparation courses, basic skill classes and
workplace contracts. Responsibilities include scheduling courses and
contract classes; recruitment, training and evaluation of faculty and staff;
student advising, testing and placement; enrollment and retention tracking;
program budget and funding management; and supervising technology component
of curriculum. Qualifications include: Master's degree in TESOL, Education,
or related field and three years of experience in program development and/or
coordination of ESL programs. Flexible schedule including some evening and
weekend hours to meet the needs of the program, proficiency with Microsoft
Office and supervisory experience also required.  Salary placement based on
education and experience.

INSTRUCTIONAL SPECIALIST -DEVELOPMENTAL READING
Responsible for providing instruction in a variety of formats including:
reading classes, tutorial labs, computer labs, distance and on-line
instruction; plus non-instructional duties in a team setting.
Responsibilities include curriculum development, assessment strategies,
outcomes measurement and peer/student mentoring for Integrated Reading and
ESL departments. Qualifications include: Master's degree in Education, or
related field with reading specialization or credential and three years
experience teaching reading, (preferably to adults in post-secondary
setting) and experience with curriculum design/development and assessment.
Flexible schedule including some evening and weekend hours to meet the needs
of the program, and proficiency with Microsoft Office also required.  Salary
placement based on education and experience.
