LEARNING ASSISTANCE PROFESSIONALS The University of Pittsburgh Learning Skills Center (LSC) is seeking an experienced professional to coordinate the Supplemental Instruction (SI) Program, a study group program for challenging introductory courses. In SI, participants are introduced to study strategies that are most effective for learning the course content. Duties include supervising student SI leaders and professional staff; organizing recruitment and training SI leaders; planning and scheduling SI assignments; promoting SI; communicating with faculty; managing the budget; and conducting program evaluation. A Master's degree and prior program management/supervisory experience are preferred. 3+ years experience in learning assistance, counseling or related field are required. Knowledge of theories, models, and practices of college learning and study skills is essential.
