Hi Diane -

Smyrna Dunes Park is a county park on the south side of Ponce Inlet. From I-95, take Hwy 44 east over ICW, left (N) on Peninsula at first light past high bridge, and go N to end of road. (Atlas p75 D-2) The park has a $3 admission and a nice boardwalk.

Take the Boardwalk from the NW side of the parking lot and near an observation tower (about 1/4 mi) take the left extension of the boardwalk out to the beach. If you keep walking on the boardwalk you get to the jetties, and if you follow it all the way back around there is a nice patch of hardwood hammock that often has flocks of warblers.

This NE blow would be a good time to look.

Good luck and let me know what you find!

With a good scope you might be able to get some
views from the western beach of the Dunes park, but a boat would be best.

Where exactly is the above described? I don't have a boat, but I do have a scope.
