Lots of birders were lucky enough to see the dove this morning after a dry spell yesterday afternoon. The bird becomes active around 10 AM. Although the lady at 133 Valois is feeding the birds, this bird is hesitant to come in and appears to spend a lot of time directly across the canal from her house, both on the wires and on the ground, on Marseilles Rd. It also appears that some of the neighbors are not especially thrilled about all the birders in front of their houses. (One person actually thought we would be looking in their windows with binoculars when they woke up in the morning!).
