Hello,

What a morning to stop the count, 60 degrees, clear and a medium east
wind blowing; not a No-See-Um or bug!

Out of 11 total warblers this morning, 3 species, the following were
identified;

Prairie         3
Blackpoll       3
Ovenbird        1

Also of note were the Bobolinks (46) and Barn Swallows (40) flying over
head in small groups.

Summary;
The Green Key Funnel count was compiled every day starting March 3, 2002
until today May 15, 2002. It is a stationary count, from 6:30am till
8:30am, at the entrance to Robert K Rees Park, at the end of Green key
Road,
West Pasco County. A total of 5750 migrants were counted. This spring no
major fallout of migrants occurred at the Funnel, the best three days
were
4/24 (342 birds), 4/7 (273 birds), and 3/30 (198 birds). The following
is
a detail list.
