Hi all,
Things were slow migrant-wise at Green Key today but there was lots of
activity among the resident birds. At least one pair of Gray Kingbirds
was building a nest, Marsh Wrens, Redwings and Prairie Warblers were
singing in the marshes, and Clapper Rails were calling and running back
and forth on the entrance road.
Birds seen:

1 Red-breasted Merganser
Least Terns
Laughing Gull
Clapper Rails
Yellow-crowned Night Heron
Little Blue Herons
Great Blue Heron
Snowy Egrets
Great Egrets
Tri-colored Heron
Semipalmated Plovers
Least Sandpipers
Willet
Ruddy Turnstones
Common Ground Dove
Marsh Wrens (at least 2 singing)
Gray Kingbirds
Common Yellowthroat
Palm Warbler
Prairie Warblers
Redwings
Brown-headed Cowbird
On the way back home I stopped at Key Vista Park and saw the following
birds:
Carolina Wren
Catbird
2 Brown Thrashers
Redstart (singing)
Common Yellowthroat
Parula Warbler
Great Crested Flycatcher
Cardinal
