Hi all,

Today, returning from Sebring we had 2 Whooping Cranes in a pasture at
Crooked Lake (south east Polk County) on the east side of Hwy 27 at approx 6
pm. Red/red was close to the road and orange/white a little farther out. On
the way to Sebring at approx 8 am there was an immature Roseate Spoonbill on
the west side of Hwy 27 in a roadside ditch, almost opposite where the cranes
were seen.

Good birding,
Linda and Buck Cooper
Haines City, FL
