Most interesting birds tonight were:

Lesser black-backed gull - 4 (2 adults and 2 first summer)

A note about one of the adults - it had a neat black tail band with some
white edging to boot, and even had some black lipstick to go along with
the red, interesting for a second, but I had it standing right next to
the other adult (winter) and it was identicle except for those two
quirks.

other stuff:

Reddish egret - 4 (1 white morph)
American oystercatcher - 1
Wilson's plover - 2
Great black-backed gull - 8
Laughing gull - 2,900
Royal tern - 600
Sandwich tern - 2
Gull-billed tern - 1
Least tern - 3
Black skimmer - 1
