Hi all,
Decided to do Sawgrass Lake park again this morning. Again it was pretty
slow. I did run into the group from the Florida Birding Festival and
tagged along with them for a while, figuring the more eyes the better.
Didn't really help since there were few migrants to be seen. Birds seen
or heard:
Anhinga
Green Heron
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Little Blue Heron
Tri-colored Heron
2 Red-shouldered Hawks (a pair, building a nest)
Falcon flyover, probably a Peregrine
Forster's Tern
Downy Woodpecker
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers
1 Yellow-throated Warbler
1 Parula Warbler
1 Ovenbird
Bluejay
Common Grackle
Cardinal
Mockingbird

Good birding,
Ray Smart
