Today was a good day at the Sanibel Lighthouse, many birds and many birders
present. Though warm and humid, a good day was had by all.  Species noted
were Gray Catbird (first of season), Wood Thrush, White-eyed, Yellow-throated
and Red-eyed Vireos, Northern Parula, Blackburnian, Yellow-throated, Prairie,
Hooded, Palm and Black-and-white Warblers, American Redstarts, Ovenbirds, a
pair of Painted Buntings, male and female, and flying overhead were Bobolinks
and Dickcissels, among other migrants.
