Birded the 6MCSP area this morning, nice respite from the summer heat, nice
and comfortable temperature. Cloudy. Northern Parula, American Redstart,
Yellowthroated Warblers and Common Yellowthroat (the first I've seen in a
while) were spotted. A Summer Tanager was also seen. The usual Anhingas,
Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Tufted Titmice, Blue jays, Northern Cardinals,
Carolina Wrens, Downy Woodpeckers, were there. Great Egrets, White Ibis,
Yellow-crowned Night herons, Little Blue Herons (and an immature all white
plumaged one), Red shouldered Hawks were also seen.
