Departs from Ponce Inlet, Volusia Co..Florida

Anticipated Destination: The Steeples Formations and the Gulf Stream about 50
miles off shore.

Expected Species: Northern Gannet, Red Phalarope, Pomarine and Parasitic
Jaegers and Black-legged Kittiwake. Less likely but very possible are: Manx
Shearwater, Long-tailed Jaeger, and Sabine's Gull. The following 4 species of
alcids have all been recorded in the state in winter and are a small
possibility: Dovekie, Thick-billed Murre, Razorbill and Atlantic Puffin.
Never recorded in Florida but much more likely than Slaty-backed Gull are
Northern Fulmar and Great Skua.
