We saw our first HERMIT THRUSH of the season in our back yard this afternoon. It ate some of the last remaining beauty berries. Also had 2 Yellow-rumped Warblers at the bird bath, and an Eastern Phoebe in the neighborhood - both FOTS for us. I've been hearing Northern Flickers calling this week. The only transient observed in our yard today was a Worm-eating Warbler.
