Fellow Birders:
Made a trip down to John Pennecamp SP. Snuck off to bird the nature trail,
botanical site and kept my eyes to the sky for raptors. It was beautiful
today and I had to work for every bird.

Warblers:
Black and White (1)
American Redstart (1)
Common Yellowthroat (2)
Hooded (1)
Black-throated Blue (1)
Palm Warbler (common)
Northern Parula (1)
Prarie (1)
Yellow-throated (2)
Cape May (1)
Magnolia (1)
Prothonatary (1, a bit of a suprize so late)

and

Raptors:
Kestel (8)
Broad-winged Hawk (1)
Red-tailed Hawk (1)
Merlin (1)
Peregrine (3)
Coopers Hawk (2)
Osprey (several)

Chuck-wills Widow (dead on the road)

Lot of other neat local birds but nothing unusual
