Hi all,

     Winter must be coming, since I saw my first Hooded Mergansers and
Blue-winged Teal at Green Key this morning. Also dozens of Yellow-rumps
flying up out of the mangroves as the sun came up. Birds seen:

D.C.Cormorants (huge flocks)
Brown Pelican
Osprey
Merlin
Cooper's Hawk
Northern Harrier
White Ibis
Reddish Egret
Tri-colored Heron
Snowy Egret
Great Egret
Great Blue Heron
7 Hooded Mergansers
Blue-winged Teal
Willet
1 American Oyster-catcher
Black Skimmer (small flock)
Laughing Gulls
1 Forster's Tern
Common Ground Dove
3 Wrens (sp, probably Marsh and/or Sedge)
Belted Kingfisher
2 Catbirds
Yellow-rumped Warblers (many)
Common Yellowthroat
Redwings
Brown-headed Cowbirds
