Planning Course

George Washington University's Center for Professional Development in
Washington DC Announces:

CWRM 189 Introduction to Vital Records Identification and Disaster
Recovery Planning
Vital records are critical to reestablishing or continuing the business
of an organization in the event of a disaster. Find out which 3-5% of
an average business's records are considered vital. Then explore what,
when, where and why records protection is essential to the survival of
an organization. Considering the potential catastrophic impact of a
major information loss, thorough preparation needs to be conducted in
anticipation of such an event. Learn how to develop a strategy to
protect vital information and what should be included in the design of a
disaster recovery plan.
Instructor: Arlene Motz, Dates: January 9-January 10, 2002, Time:
Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm; Friday 8:30am-4:00pm; Cost: $935.
