Below are the program basics; for more information and to download an application, please refer to our website: http://www.ncuscr.org/FPC/FPChome.htm The U.S. Foreign Policy Colloquium is a three-day, in-depth examination of American foreign policy that will feature many exciting, knowledgeable speakers - former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara, former Ambassador to the PRC Joseph Prueher, and Vice President Gore's National Security Advisor Leon Fuerth, are among those who have already confirmed. We also plan to have senior Administration officials and at least one member of Congress speak as well. The program is designed to be interactive; there will be ample opportunity for dialogue with the speakers. The weekend conference will take place June 5-8 in Washington, D.C., beginning with the keynote speech in the late afternoon of the 5th and ending the with a farewell party on the evening of the 7th; there will be optional sight seeing on the 8th. The National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and the Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University invite you to attend a three-day symposium on U.S. foreign policy. This exciting new program provides a unique opportunity for Chinese graduate students studying in the United States to explore the dynamics of American foreign policy making, past and present. Students will engage with current and former senior officials from places such as the State Department, the National Security Council and Congress; foreign policy experts from think-tanks and academia; influential media representatives; business leaders; lobbyists and others. Non-specialists are encouraged to apply.
