Thanks for your note. It was timely because I tried to request the messages in digest form and had not luck. Please help!

Subject: Problems (and sollutions) with Lrnasst-L
May I draw your attention to 3 problems that have surfaced in the last
couple of days:
1. Some subscribers have registered and then withdrawn from the list
because of the amount of traffic on the list that is not of
general interest. This problem is partially alleviated by setting
the options to "DIGest" but digest does not solve all of the
problem. I have received several complaints because individuals
are using the listserv for personal messages or messages directed
to a single subscriber. Please, if your message is specifically
for one member of the listserv, reply directly to that individual
instead of the list.
2. The name of our listserv has changed from "LRNASST" to
"LRNASST-L". The software setup at the University of Florida
requires all listservs to have an "-L" at the end of their name.
The new name must be used in addressing the list and in all
commands. (Also, there should not be a period following a command.)
3. Many of you have been members of LRNASST for a long time and you
subscribed under a different email address. Your home email server
knows how to find you, thus you are still receiving email sent to
your old address. However, when you send a command to the
LRNASST-L server, it tries to match your current address to the
subscription without success. If your mail is returned to you
with a message that you are not subscribed, this may be the cause.
I will change your address for you if you are unable to do so.
If you know your address is changing, please signoff the listserv
before the change and subscribe again with your new address.
Thanks for your assistance in making our listserv work smoothly.
