>BACKFILE CONVERSION
>
>Backfile conversion is the process of converting paper documents to
>electronic (image or digital) formats. Since backfile conversion

>conversion plan. Included will be a discussion of how to identify
>records for conversion, conducting an inventory for the purpose of
>conversion, indexing, storage media, cost factors and costing models,
>vendor roles and services, methodologies, quality assurance,
>followup, and integration with current document processing. A
>combination of presentation and case studies will be used.
>
>TARGET AUDIENCE
>Of interest to anyone planning a backfile conversion including
>analysts, CIO's, IT managers, records managers, advanced records
