Final Registration Opportunity

JOINT FIAT/IASA/DELOS WORKSHOP
Theme: "Preservation".

3 April 2003, YLE, Helsinki

(in conjunction with the annual FIAT/IASA meeting on April 4-5)

Radio/audio is now very active in mass digitisation, and facing most of the
traditional “digital library” issues (sustainability, funding, workflow,
storage formats and technology, metadata)

This one-day workshop brings together researchers in the field of
preservation, researchers in the field of Digital Libraries and end-users
(of media digital libraries) from the IFTA/IASA community, to present and
discuss what are the "hot topics" (in research and in practice) when dealing
with digitisation, preservation and access to Digital Libraries.

The annual FIAT/IASA meeting, on April 4 and 5, will deal with topics of
more specific interest to the community of Radio and Audio/Visual archives.
