Sunday 7/13:

The lesser black-backed was still at Huguenot. Wilson's
plovers which were absent yesterday were back in force today,
probably due to far fewer people. The standout bird of the day
was a spotted sandpiper seen on the river beach at the jetty.

Spoonbill Pond on the north end of Big Talbot Island had
six whimbrels. A single least sandpiper was also present.
A flock of about 20 peeps flew in but landed in a marshy area
and could not be seen.
