You might try looking at some of the work of Sherri Stawser and Susan
Miller. Their article Math Failure and Learning Disabilities in the
Postsecondary Student Population in Top Lang Disord 2001; 21(2): 68-84 -
looks at how students with math learning disabilities also have language
skill and reading skill deficits.

Subject: Reading and math placement

HI all,
Could anyone point me to studies or work that has been done that looks
at the success rate of students in mathematics with a correlation to
reading scores rather than the correlation to math scores?

Thank you.
