Hello all,
A faculty member I work with is looking for some research on allowing students to mark on tests (underlining key words, etc). Currently, her department (Nursing) does not allow students to mark on tests in order to prepare them for their state exams, which are all computerized and do not allow for marking. The department is considering a change, in light of the fact that all the study skills material the students are exposed to advocate underlining key words. Does anyone know of any actual research on marking on tests?

Thanks so much,
Sharon
