Today was not a spectacular day but pleasant enough birding Lake George
Wildlife Management Area. Actually found during the day one Screech Owl and 2
Barred Owls. There were lots of American Robins and Myrtle Warblers around plus:
Black and White Warbler, 3 Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers, Ruby-crowned Kinglet,
White-eyed Vireo, several Downys, Pileateds, Red-bellieds, Ring-winged
Blackbirds, several House Wrens. All in all I found 38 species throughout the day
traveling to and from as well as in the WMA. Made for a very pleasant day before
having to go to work later despite the low count.

Hope you all are having a wonderful holiday period. Hope to see you on the
birding circuit!
