We allow students to repeat courses. When they do so, their transcript
still shows what they earned the first time, but their cumulative grade
point average only factors in what the student received when the course was
repeated.

Subject: Repeating courses

I've been asked to research national policies regarding repetition of
courses, both developmental and college-level; how is GPA affected, what
appears on the transcript, how many "repeats" are allowed, etc?

Any information will be appreciated.
