Topic: Critical Issues for Records Management in Mergers and Acquisitions
In the event of a merger or acquisition, Records Managers may be required to
mobilize to ensure that the company's most valuable information assets are
protected, kept confidential, and continue to be accessible.
Vulnerabilities may increase at the time of Merger/Acquisition to include
potential loss, diversion, and compromised integrity.

In the event of site closures, these issues can be even more critical.
Records Managers can and should get involved early on with planning and
execution of protective measures to ensure against loss.

The presentation will focus on the approach and actions that Record
Managers can take when faced with the difficulties of mergers and
acquisitions.
