Hello,

Visited the small golf course in Gulf Harbors, west Pasco, this morning
before the golfers arrived to play the flooded course, which they did?

In the muddy, flooded driving range I found the following;

50 Monk Parakeets (on the ground soaking up the mud?)
200 Least Sandpipers
25 Short-billed Dowitchers
4 Greater Yellowlegs
1 Pectoral Sandpiper*

*Sibley states "often crouch among the vegetation when alarmed" which is
exactly what this one did when all the other sandpipers took flight when
a flock of Fish Crows flew over; it did a belly flop in some short grass
until the sandpiper flock circled back in!.
