RE: NEW CRC GRAD STUDENT WEB PAGES AND CAREER SHOWCASE

New Graduate Student Webpages:

I am happy to unveil the Career Resource Center's new web pages specifically
designed for graduate students. There are over 40 new pages covering
numerous topics, such as "How to Prepare Your CV" in the Doctor of
Philosophy degree student pages and "Should I Go On For the PhD?" in the
master's degree student pages. The new pages can be found at:

www.crc.ufl.edu/gradservices

Career Showcase:

Come to Career Showcase! The Fall 2005 Career Showcase occurs over two days
at the O'Connell Center. Tuesday, 27 September 2005 is for technical
positions and Wednesday, 28 September 2005 is for non-technical positions.

We have over 360 employers recruiting at Career Showcase over the course of
the two days. Employers are looking for a variety of disciplines and are
usually very interested in hiring someone with the kinds of skills you have
developed during your graduate education.

Of those 360 employers:
-- 243 are specifically seeking master's level students
-- 54 are specifically seeking specialist degree students
-- 64 are specifically seeking PhD students

To find out what employers are interested in recruiting someone with your
skills and expertise as graduate students and how to prepare for Showcase,
please see...

Good luck!
