Hello Everybirdy, Did a little romping around today. Hit Jetty Park, forgot there was a launch today. Putzed around on the beach a bit, intersting sights were: at least 15 Royal Terns with bands 2 Sandwich Terns with bands 4 imm. Great Black Backed Gulls on the main beach 6 Adult Great Black-backed on the CCAFS side of the inlet Plenty of Imm. and Adult Northern Gannets in scope range off shore Headed over to MINWRto peek behind Pumphouse Road, since I hadn't been there in almost a week!!! Can you believe it?? lol some of the goods on the left: 2 Gull-billed Terns 30+ Red Knots ( a few appeared to be getting some color) 1 Short-billed Dowitcher needling the mud 30 Marbled Godwits They were all flocked together on the edge of the mud flat. Someone must've tipped them off that the water level on the right side of the dike was dropping so they all decided to check it out. Was a colorful view watching them "leap" over the dike road. Joann from Vermont got to see'em too! Still a good bunch of Ruddy's and Lesser Scaup out there 75 or so Am. White Pelicans some of the goods on the right: 15 Green-winged Teal 25+ Am. Wigeon (anyone seen the Eurasian there lately?) 3 Black-bellied Plovers 2 Willets 20+ Northern Shovelers 100+ Northern Pintails See you out there. Thomas J. Dunkerton Titusville, FL.
