Onondaga Community College's Office of Services for Students with
Special Needs (OSSSN) has an opening for our new Perkins/VTEA
grant-funded position of Adaptive Technology Specialist.  The individual
selected will be a full-time, 12-month professional administrator;
starting pay is approximately $40,000.  Please share with others who may

The Office of Services for Students with Special Needs invites
applications from talented, enthusiastic professionals to make education
accessible through products, devices, and services that assist learners
with disabilities.

 

We prefer an appropriate degree from an accredited college or university
and relevant experience working with and providing services to
individuals with disabilities that includes proficiency in the use of
assistive or adaptive technology products, devices, and equipment.
Proficiency in MS Access and Excel are required.

Experience with Kurzweil, JAWS, Dragon, Duxbury, ZoomText, and Braille
embossers is desirable; possession of an ATACP certificate or current
ATHEN membership is a plus.
