Dear Colleagues:

We are delighted to share the following information about full-time
(temporary) program specialist positions in Project Success at NEIU.
Please see below and the attached position announcement.

Two (2) temporary Program Specialists positions are currently available
within Project Success at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago,
Illinois. Project Success serves primarily African-American and
other "under-represented" college bound students with the potential for
academic success, but do not meet standard NEIU admission guidelines.
Most students admitted through Project Success at NEIU require college
readiness skills because of previous educational circumstances related
to inadequate college preparation and/or test-taking skills. The
program serves those who can best benefit from integration into the
university and are willing to direct their energy into a rigorous
baccalaureate education. The program recruits, admits, advises, and
teaches college success and provides educational assistance, enrichment,
leadership and student support. In addition to the above general
duties, the two (2) program specialists will manage one of the
following: recruitment/enrollment services; learning assistance
services; career exploration and/or enrichment services. In-depth
knowledge of the under-represented and minority college student if
required for both positions.

Review of applicants begins immediately. If you are interested in one
