RE: 20 APRIL 2006 GSC MEETING
The UF Graduate Student Council (GSC) will hold its April general meeting at
6:30 p.m. on Thursday, 20 April 2006 in the Harn Museum of Art auditorium on
the UF campus.
The meeting is open to all UF graduate and professional students. During it,
GSC will hold its annual elections. The agenda also will include discussion
of splitting graduate and undergraduate students in the UF Student
Government Senate and committee reports on abusive supervision, child care,
financial affairs, insurance and travel grants.
Pizza and refreshments will be served. The Harn Museum will be open to the
public afterwards.
GSC serves as a liaison between graduate students and the UF administration,
and also between graduate students and UF Student Government, providing a
voice for graduate student needs, concerns and ideas. Funded by UF Student
Government and, in part, by the UF Graduate School, it uses its budget to
provide graduate students with a number of services.
