Hi All,

Seems like the NNE winds kept a lot of birds in the park. Had interesting numbers again, although not much species variety. Birds with good numbers: Gray Catbird (54); Northern Parula (78); Yellow-rumped Warbler, including 1 singing (29); Yellow-throated Warbler (6); Palm Warbler (208); Black-and-white Warbler (12); Common Yellowthroat (202); and Painted Bunting (8).

I confess to checking out more weedy areas today to pump up the numbers. It worked! The birdiest spots were south Pond Trail and north edge of Youth Camping Area.

Saludos,
